Updated this now that I've trimmed down the other side of the face.
I've yet to add the spots and everything else but here we go so far!The creature isn't finished yet as it still needs it's nose attached, a neck, it's fangs/teeth, and some big eyes. I'm working on this in between the more important projects (commissions).
As said, I'm going to add spots. Just deciding how large and how many now.
Critique is very much welcomed as the fur is only pinned down (see the pins still?) and can be pulled up if fixing or fur or shaping is needed.
I'd also love your input on what color I should make the eyes? Currently I drew a mock up but I dunno about them.

P.S. Yes more times than naught I cut the fur away last then add the eyes. Just how I roll.

I'm assuming you use shaving clippers?
If you do or don't, one of the bast things to do when using those is to start with the larges clicp-on, then SLOWLY go down to the smallest. It leaves you with a nice, clean shave.

I agree with what ~kweeuu said, it's a much easier thing to shave the fur while it's flat on the floor.
I think some spots on the cheeks would be ADORABLE.
This looks like a bunny/corgi mix because there isn't a nose yet. Maybe there won't be one lol I thing the ears are down right adorable.

Also you can try another way of cutting the fur if it seems too nerve wracking. You can try and shave it down before you sew the pieces together. That way it's on a nice flat surface and might be easier to control the blades.
also I think a few spots would make this pretty cute.
I'm confused a bit on where the eyes are haha. I can't seem to find a place.
