Description
One of the earliest known variants of Cinderella, Rhodopis is the ancient Greek myth of a courtesan who one day has her sandal stolen by an eagle while she bathes.
The eagle drops the shoe at the feet an Egyptian Prince who travels to Greece to find itβs owner. After finding Rhodopis he marries her and takes her back to Egypt as his Princess.
