Chapter 7: Make it double! Part 1

With the battle over, Trace recalls his fainted Pikachu, the red beam of energy returning the electric mouse to its Pokeball, while Star runs over to Shawn and Vee, who praise the Eevee for its victory. Afterwards, both Shawn, and Trace shook hands and headed over to the Pokemon Center, healing their Pokemon.

         “You were amazing back there Star, both me, and Shawn are proud of you, and so would Veevee.” Vee tells the Eevee, who sheepishly smiles, thanking the Espeon as they left the Pokemon Center and rejoined the others.

          “Hey, Shawn, if you don't mind me asking, how long have you had those Eeveelutions with you?” Trace curiously asks his fellow trainer.

          “Vee, and Star? Well I've had Vee, since my last journey in Johto, I raised him from an egg. As for Star, she technically just joined my Pokemon team when we went on this journey.” Shawn answers

          “That so? Star seems to already have a lot of battle experience, has she been training with your Espeon or something?”

         “Yeah, she's been training with Vee.” the Terminian trainer responds as the two rejoined the others. The heroes then part ways with Trace, and head for Mt. Moon, where they found Team Rainbow Rocket members to be in the area.

          "Team Rainbow Rocket, here? They're definitely up to no good." Saria says

          "Looks like we’ll have to battle our way through." Tim frowns, holding a Pokeball in his right hand.

          "Star, be sure to stay close to us, this is going to get very dangerous, very quickly." Vee tells Star, with the Eevee responding to the two tailed cat with a nervous 'okay'. The heroes then continue to go deeper into Mt. Moon, battling members of Team Rainbow Rocket as they did so. Along the way, Saria catches a wild Clefairy, adding a new Pokemon to her team. When the group of friends finally reached the end, they were greeted by a familiar motto.
"Prepare for trouble!"
"Make it double!"
"Of course... it WOULD be them." Tim sighs as Jessie, and James continued their motto.
"To protect the world from devastation!"
"To unite all peoples within our nation!"
"To denounce the evils of truth and love!"
"To extend our reach to the stars above!"
"Jessie!"
"James!"
"Team Rainbow Rocket, blast off at the speed of light!"
"Surrender now, or prepare to fight!"
"Meowth! That's right!"
