Chapter 7: Make it double! Part 2

With the Team Rainbow Rocket Trio done with their motto, they took out the Poke Balls of their respective Pokemon, holding them in their dominant hands, ready to battle the heroes.

            "Star, stay close to Shawn, Tim, and Saria, you'll be safe with them." Vee tells Star, the Espeon, ready to protect the Eevee with his life, he knew that battling Shadow Pokemon meant he wasn't battling for fun like with ordinary trainers, battling Team Rainbow Rocket, and their Shadow Pokemon, meant he was battling for not just his own, but the lives of his trainer, and his comrades.

           "Be careful Daddy." Star pleads, concerned for Vee, who seemed to be ready to battle seriously, and give it one hundred percent.

           "So you twerps are going to battle us after all? What a shame, you should have just let us take your Pokemon… but if you insist." James says, "Come on out, Koffing!"

          "Go, Ekans!"

          "Let's get 'em Pibu!" Saria exclaims, sending out Pibu to battle.

           "Ekans, use Shadow Blitz, on Pichu!" Jessie orders her Shadow Ekans, which it obeys and uses Shadow Blitz, performing the move by cloaking itself in shadow aura, as it goes full speed aiming to tackle Pibu.

           "Koffing, use Shadow Wave!" James commands his Koffing, which uses the move by firing balls of shadowy energy at both Pibu, and Vee.

          "That's a lot of Shadow Waves… not good!" Shawn thought before giving Vee a command, "Vee, use Psyshock to create a Counter Shield!" he commands, which the Espeon obeys by using Psyshock while spinning on his back in order to create a barrier with the move, protecting the Espeon from the incoming Shadow Waves.

           "I should ask if Daddy can teach me how to do that!" Star thought in awe

           "Pibu, dodge that Shadow Blitz, and try to make the Shadow Waves going after you hit Vee's Counter Shield!" Saria commands, with her Pichu obeying, and runs up to Vee's Counter Shield, making the Shadow Waves follow him. The Pichu, then, at the last second, moves out of the way, causing the Shadow Waves to hit the Counter Shield.

           "Why you little!" James fumes

           "Go daddy! Go Pibu!" Star cheers

          "Ready to go on the offensive Saria?" Shawn asks, with Saria nodding in agreement as she spoke.

            "Yeah, let's do it!" the green haired trainer agrees, with both trainers returning their attention back to the Team Rainbow Rocket Trio.

    “Ekans, use Shadow Blitz now!” Jessie commands her Shadow Pokemon, with James also commanding his Koffing to use Shadow Wave.

“Pibu, jump into the air!” Saria orders her partner Pokemon, with Shawn quickly giving Vee a command after Saria finished giving hers.

“Vee, hit Pibu towards Ekans and Koffing!” Shawn exclaims, with his Espeon jumping above Pibu and using his tail to spike the Pichu towards the enemy Shadow Pokemon, while Pibu curls up into a ball and uses the momentum from Vee to his advantage while using Volt Tackle.

    “Wow, they didn’t need to say anything to each other, they just knew what both of them were planning on doing.” Tim says he was impressed, to say the least by the team work of his fellow trainers. “I guess both of them have been working with each other for stuff involving double battles.” he notes in thought, smiling at how far the two trainers have come as Pibu’s Volt Tackle hits Koffing and Ekans before they could use their shadow moves.

    “Yay! Go Daddy! Go Pibu!” Star happily cheers, catching the attention of the Team Rainbow Rocket Trio.

    “Meowth?” Jessie asks clearly up to something

    “Yeah Jess?” Meowth answers

    “I have a plan, we’ll distract these pests, and you take that Eevee over there, as a hostage.” Jessie says, “If we can’t beat ‘em, we’ll give them a choice, give us their Pokemon, or we’ll threaten to kill the Eevee.” she finishes, causing her two teammates to smirk

    “I love it Jess! Let’s do it!” James smiles.

    “What do you think those three are up to Saria?” Shawn worryingly asks, having a very bad feeling all of a sudden.

    “Whatever it is, let’s be careful.” Saria says nervously.

    “Koffing, use another Shadow Wave, firing Shadow Waves nonstop at both Pibu, and Vee, with Ekans doing the same.

    “Run all you like, you can’t dodge all of them forever!” James exclaims as Meowth sneaks away from the battling to put Jessie’s plan into action.

    “Vee, try to reach Pibu and use a Psyshock Counter Shield to protect both of you!” Shawn panics as both Vee, and Pibu struggle to avoid all the Shadow Waves. Once the Espeon hears his trainer, he runs in Pibu’s direction, who, like Vee, is starting to become overwhelmed, with both Pokemon getting hit by multiple Shadow Waves, taking super effective damage. Pibu, tiring out after trying to constantly dodge, was, like Vee, now very fatigued when the two Pokemon reached each other, Vee uses Psyshock to create a Counter Shield, both protecting the two Pokemon and destroying the Shadow Waves.

    “Phew, thanks Vee, any longer and Pibu would have been seriously hurt.” Saria thanks, relieved that both Pokemon were still okay.

    “Wait, where’s Meowth?” Tim asks unable to find the cat, making both Jessie and James put an evil smirk on their face.

    “My, my, you certainly have powerful Pokemon, they would be perfect for Team Rainbow Rocket, hand them over, and we’ll let you live.” Jessie says

    “And why would we do that?” Shawn raises an eyebrow, “We aren’t strangers when it comes to dealing with Rainbow Rocket and their Shadow Pokemon.” he adds when he hears Meowth’s voice coming from behind Jessie, and James.

    “Because if ya don’t then we’ll either kill this Eevee, or turn it into a Shadow Pokemon.” Meowth answers, revealing that he had Star in both of his paws, which James then grabs the scared Eevee in his right hand, holding her by her left ear so that the heroes could see the hostage.

    “Star!” Vee calls out, concerned for the Eevee, his eyes wide, fearful of what was going to happen.

    “Let her go!” Tim demands, with his Pikachu, joining Vee, and Pibu on the battlefield.

    “D-daddy h-help m-me!” Star pleads, starting to cry, with Vee’s blood running ice cold, as he sees Star being threatened to be eaten by Ekans.

    "... Alright, you win, you can have our Pokemon, just let Star go." Tim surrenders, his head held low.
