Description
Wintersday 2010A little about the image. This is Dwayna, Guild Wars goddess and she is holding a little miniature polar bear.
I don't know how much hours this piece cost me, but i can say a lot, really REALLY a lot. But the main reason why i drew this is GWGuru wintersday workshop. I got some really nice critiques there ^^ Also, if you see something i should change don't hesitate to tell me, i would most appreciate good critique ^_^
pose reference used : [link] This models gallery is really inspiring so show her some
Done in painter 11 and photoshop cs3
Im dedicating this picture to my little brother

maybe i should write text like "Dwayna and polar bear" or something below on the picture? don't wanna confuse Anet with my "creativity"

Can't you submit a title or discription to Anet? I have never participated in such events so I don't know.

I can't believe I never noticed how tall her head is! The magnificent tiara completely alluded me from it... It looks very odd to me now when I noticed it >_< But I assume it's waay too late for that now.
What parts did you do in painter?

The part of her head above the tiara is huge, she must be sitting on a big brain to have a head like that. Normally, the top of the head isn't very far from where the hair line of the forehead is. She has a big forehead AND a high scalp.
I hope you don't mind me pointing it out, it looks really weird to me now that I saw it... I can't unsee it. The rest of the pic is truly stunning though.

Looks better; doesn't "scream" at me any more, but it's still too tall. Very nice work on this one! I'm at awe!

Don't worry, I think everyone got distracted by the tiara and the face, took me a looong good while to see it myself
