I hadn't upload anything for quite some time and I hope my muse will return when I have something to actually do~

Name: Arcano (nicknamed Arcy)

Age: Appears to be around 17. (Real age unknown, maybe in mid-twenties)
Gender: Male
Height: 5’6” (~167 cm – his horns give him extra 3 centimeters)
Weight: 180 lbs (~82 kg – due to his horns)
Orientation: Bisexual (but completely unaware)

Dorm: Pearl

Skill:
His skill that he was born with is called "Aura". It is what it is, his own aura projected in a unique way and heigtening his sixth sense to a level where it gives him special sensors. He is able to feel any living presence entering his aura (that is a sphere of 30 meters radius) as well as danger, lies and ill intentions. It is active all the time as he is unable to turn the ability off, but it's intensity is lowered when he is sleeping. It often causes him headaches and also makes him somewhat uncomfortable in crowds. This Aura maps his surroundings and he is able to feel even when objects are thrown at him (it’s another question if he is able to avoid being hit...).

He is able to concentrate his aura in one point and strengthen his hits, by releasing a blast of his aura with his fists. It doesn't work if he is using weapons, which he is actually unskilled at.

Well-practiced hand-to-hand combat that fits well with his Aura. He is almost unable to weild weapons, and especially lame with projectiles and guns. (Guess who can shot himself accidentally?)

Likes: Peace, being free, honest people, mystery novels, sweets, watching the reactions of others, blood, people with wild and bad guy/girl attitude.

Dislikes: Lies, cold weather, spiders, medical needles, being shut in a small room, chains, crowds.

Personality:
He is calm, composed, and cheerful. It's rather hard to anger him - actually nearly impossible - and he rarely considers anyone as his enemy or feels dislike toward others. Most of the time he has a curious and innocent face observing the situations and he counters every agression with a calm voice. Same goes with bullying, he is actually quite dumb to such acts and never holds a grudge agaist anyone. As emotionally dumb as he is, telling him jokes will make him laugh though he won't get half of their meaning most of the time. He is just cheerful and totally low on emotional feedback, though he is far from being naive in life.

Opposed to other people, though his calmness may appear to be cold, but most of the time it is more like serene and soothing. Though, he likes to grab the opportunity to lightly tease his surroundings, even getting close to real sarcasm. This attitude is hardly noticeable because his comments are masked by a kind smile and voice, but that is exactly why it is so unnerving. He often acts on pure instinct, if he doesn't have the time to think up battle strategies or plans. This makes him rather awkward in social situations as well, but he is more shy than anything other even around fellow monochromatics.

His actions are unpredictable even for those who knew him for a long time, and he is not understood at certain times. Even he himself gets confused, but keeps his uncertainty to himself. It's hard to make him bend to other's will and he firmly stands his ground, being faithful to his beliefs. If you insist, we can say that he is stubborn as hell. He pretty much follows after his own beliefs, without giving in to anyone, and that can be rather... annoying. He likes to meddle with people's business, and likes to know about others a lot. It doesn't seems to be fair since he won't open up easily but still wishes for others to be open to him.

History:
He was born into a family of normal humans and was abandoned soon, but he ended up with demonic step-parents who took him in, though neither of them were actually monochromatics. He aged slower and even though he seemed to be only a baby he was already around five. His aging almost completely stopped at the physical appearance of a 17 years old, and he is unsure of exactly how old he is (not even mentioning his birth date…). He was a rather wild and rebellious child, causing problems and creating havoc all the time and he was quite annoyed by his own Aura ability. His thrist for blood only appeared later and scared him quite much, as his first hunt turned into a massacre (humans, demons and monochromatics) when he lost his mind in the haze of his highwired Aura and blind need for blood. His hands were burned by the red blood and he still wears the scars hidden under his gloves carefully. He was captured and restrained by other demons, shut in a small room and tormented until he repented for his sins. This event made him even more uncomfortable with the color red.

After that incident his personality calmed down (he killed enough for a few decades) and helped his currently visible traits to surface. He became more cheerful and innocent as he accepted his own abilities and needs. The ornaments on his hands were a present from his step-parents to help him control his own ability and to prevent another bloodshed though he vowed to never lose his mind like that. Out of worry that it might actually happen again, he was still enrolled in the Monochromatic Academy.

Additional Info:

He is sensitive to physical contact due to his ability, and tends to overreact, especially when someone touches his skin directly, though it doesn't actually mean it's painful for him. To his embarrassment, it's pretty much the opposite...
He wears gloves to lessen the chance of body contact, but the secondary reason is to hide his hands and lower arms which are covered with scars.
The ornaments on his gloves are blue (same colored as pure souls). It starts to glow when he enters into combat and is said to help him control his Aura blasts. Do not make him backhand you with those, monochromatics. It will hurt.
His horns are quite thick and heavy, weighting almost 10 kilograms. He had problems with sleeping and he can never lay on his back (unless his head is turned to the side but that’s uncomfortable).
Aside from eating souls and ocassionally human food, he needs to consume blood regularly, either a human’s, demon's or a monochromatic’s.
Despite his small form, he eats a lot. Quite a lot…
He is afraid of spiders and medical needles. Watch the calm guy freak out when seeing any of those.
He is claustrophobic.
His eyes are silvery white completely, but when angered, they turn black save for his irises, which stay light and are glowing.
