This is less of a theory, and more observations and hypotheses as to what's going on.

First lets tackle the big one: Is this a loop or a story? The biggest discussions lately are on either the "Henry trapped in a time loop" theory or the "Joey's story of his rise and fall" theory. Personally I'd like to believe the former is correct because if it's just a story then there was no actual danger.
So Henry is trapped in time loop but what exactly is this loop. For that, we turn back to the "gods" that Joey tried to appease. I imagine that the gods gave him a form of the tainted ink and his workers just made the ink machine. Now whose to say that Joey couldn't still call upon them? When Joey got to the point where nothing could be fixed, the workshop nor the workers, he left it all. But there was one thing he couldn't erase, Bendy. I believe that some demon used the soulless model as a new home and it can be assumed that a cartoonist couldn't kill a demon. So Joey called upon his gods again to give him the means to get rid of Bendy (and possible the studio). They gave him his answer in the form of the "The End" film reel and all Joey had to do was play in front of Bendy. Now there are two possibilities as to what happened next: either Joey was too scared to face the demon or he suspected that there was a catch to this good deal. Either way Joey doesn't trap Bendy himself, he asks around, hoping the ones that left the studio could come back and do the job for him. When no one else came Joey called his old friend Henry. With regards to the previous possibilities, it determines whether Joey's actions were malicious or not. Whether he wanted Henry, the man who should've pushed harder, to face the demon or he wanted to trap the demon but unknowingly trapped Henry as well.

There are four more things to address with regards to this theory: Tom and Allison, Wally's last tape, the recent discovery of the scythe, and the giant ink machine.
*Firstly-how did Tom and Allison live outside the studio as well as inside of it? The best answer would be copying. At some point during their time at the studio, Joey had the idea of copying his workers' souls with the ink. And after the experience, the person doesn't remember what happened (because I doubt that Tom and Allison would keep in touch with a guy they knew copied their souls). It also explains how Tom wolf and Allison Angel suddenly came into existence and don't know who they are. They have the original personality but the rest is a blank slate. And in the giant ink machine, we see writing saying "I still remember my name" implying that the processed didn't always erase memories.
*Next we have Wally's last tape, in which he talks about finding a cake in one the office rooms. Now, considering how random this is, my best guesses are Wally just using the tape however(possibly meaning not all the tapes are to be taken seriously) or this is just a funny way he "got out of there". He was just fired for eating someone else's cake. Anti climatic but funny since we all thought he would be doomed or a lone survivor but Nope.
*With the recent discovery of the scythe in game, it unlocked a new dimension to the world and the loop. Going through the loop after getting the scythe will unlock the boarded up trap door in Chapter 1. Going through, you'll find a tunnel of ink similar to that of the tunnel seen after Henry dies. After going through the tunnel, you start back at chapter 1 but the world has an odd greyish fuzz instead of the sepia. As far as I know this stays throughout all the chapters. But what this means to me, is that despite how many times Henry's gone through the loop, there's a possibility that he can still escape. By delving deeper and deeper into these secret areas. I don't think theMeatly has programmed any secret endings for this but I think this just to give us the sense of hope that Henry will escape.
*Lastly we have the giant ink machine which houses Bendy's lair. I imagine this model was used for the copying process where as the first was only able to remake souls from the dead. All the figures inside could be either more workers being copied or copies being copied in an endless shower of ink. But the biggest thing in the machine is Bendy's throne and prison. I believe that since Bendy wasn't perfect(as stated in one of the audio tapes) he was locked away, far below the surface. We can tell by the chain links on his throne. Eventually however, Bendy managed to escape, possibly when the big ink machine was being built, and he took this opportunity to decorate his former cell, with the throne and the projectionist heads displaying cartoons. But as an attempt to imprison him again, Joey created the maze inside the machine(Why else would you have a maze in there).

And that's all my thoughts on Bendy and the ink machine's Chapter 5 and ending.
