Description
Shadow is Benji's right hand man and closest friend. It started out as a simple class assignment in which Benji had to create various shapes using a shadow. Benji continued to do this until he came across an old spell in his textbook. Only the older students learned it and for good reason. The spell was designed to turn one's shadow into an obedient servant but since Benji's magic wasn't strong enough at the time, his shadow became its own being. At first it was quite mischievous but soon grew close to Benji, often helping him with his pranks.

Benji's teacher wasn't impressed though and gave them both detention for a week. However the reason the teacher did so was not for the reasons you'd think.
During the time of Shadow's creation the Shadow Realm Crisis was beginning. The shadow realm was a world consisting of the shadows of every known organism in the world. The crisis was that the shadows were beginning to invade our world and others, the reason was unknown.
Now shadows weren't usually creatures without malicious intentions so it was no wonder that Benji's shadow was under constant supervision. It hated it and the reason why it liked Benji so much was because it was treated more like a person when around him.

That is until Benji's body and mind began to become unstable. During this time Shadow helped as much as it could but Benji always pushed it away. It even got to a point where they physically fought. Shadow may not speak but you can see its concern, its worry, its fear of losing its closest friend.
