16:00The egg had been fidgeting a lot
Both in and out of my pouch
The wyngling inside seemed ready to emerge
The sensation of it willing was quite thrilling

I have prepared the necessary components for the Finn baby to hatch
The egg is now in a large tub of water, a birthing place and future swimming spot
I have baby food made as well as a place for the wyngling to sleep
Now I must wait

Having waited for a few hours, my beebs grew tired so I put them on a cushion to sleep
While I grabbed a book of my shelf
I don't entirely remember what I read, I must have dozed off a few minutes after
I awoke to the sound of sloshing water
I bolted up, remembering what was happening
The egg rocked violently within the tub, multiple cracks already formed
Finally, the child broke out
I simply stared at it, new life, a part of myself though it didn't have my features
Its gills seemed to gulp in the water, it would be a while before it could breathe air
I placed the beeb seed within the water, I had a beeb when I was born so why not this child
I shall study the egg and water at a later date
For now, it needed a name
Something simple, something similar
I said: Greetings child, I am K, and you are G
