While on he's way to the Rattle's rest, Kay bumped into a young fish ladThe fish, Gnash, apologized, Kay didn't think much of it
Gnash noticed what Kay was holding
It was an ad for a breeding partner
Kay had planned to post it up on the rattle's rest's bulletin board
Gnash asked about the ad, so they walked together while Kay explained
He needed a male partner to breed with
hoping to learn more about the magic 'lock' made during the process
Gnash was confused, since Kay was male
Technically he wasn't, Kay was biologically female but prefered presenting himself as male
With this out of the way, Gnash asked about the child
As it didn't seem like Kay had thought this through

Originally she planned to give the egg to Alma
but the potential to study wyngling magic was enough to change her mind
Gnash was still unsure about this plan, but maybe he could help her
