Their mission having ended, Gambit and Rogue decided to separate from the rest of the group. The skies were still overcast, a reminder of the battle that had just taken place."Stormy's stamp of disapproval," Remy joked as they strolled along the edge of the water. The mutant who had been causing tidal waves along the Lake was currently locked up within the X-Jet.
Rogue nodded absently, taking her hand in his and pulling him along behind her.
He smiled and followed silently. The power of the storm still charged the air, the waves crashed against the shore. Rogue's hair twisted violently in the wind, the power that she had absorbed earlier causing the waves to dance towards them.
He was happy to follow silently, if only because she was finally willing to lead.

I drew this picture about three months ago. The sketch was perfect but then I messed up the lineart. I finally coloured it this morning. I'm not sure how I feel about it now, but I'm really happy with how gambit came out.
Also, Romy is my OTP. <3
