When their son neared his teen years, Krystal and Carmelita wondered how it would play out. However he wasn't experiencing any regular growth spurts and his body wasn't producing stronger muscles despite he was experiencing his changing. Eventually they set up an appointment for him to have an exam to see if something was wrong, after a few hours the doctors came to the conclusion that his growth was normal but a little slow, all in all he was healthy all around though they also discovered just how weak his arms were and that the testosterone may not really effect them. Krystal got him home with some vitamins she had picked up that the doctor recommended to see if it'll help, though she knew her son, he took it to heart as if he done something wrong or if there was something wrong. After returning from a long day at work, Carmelita greeted both of them as she looked at the medical results for their boy. The both of them looked to their son who was watching a cartoon, they asked if he was alright and that's when he asked them a question they didn't expect "Are you... ashamed of me?" with sad eyes. The question shook them to the very core and so they sat on either side of him and assured him that they weren't and that what he was going through was far more common then he thought and that there was nothing wrong with him.
