High volcanic activity, Sulphur based atmosphere and naturally formed Sulfuric Acid solvent in the surface would most likely prevent if not completely erradicating any life that might try to form on it, but, to surprise and awe. Life still found a way to form on it's corrosive "waters".

Silicon-based lifeforms, they adapted to the harsh environment and crushing weight of the world, crawled out of their corrosive pits and spread over the landscape. Extreme, Blind, sillicone-skinned creatures with metallic bones, the inhabitants of Murugan are life's greatest warriors.
