My first SMG4 fan art, and my first fan art of Axol, one of my favorite characters from that universe. Also the first new Gmod pic i've done in quite a while, almost nine years Infact. A fanfic may or may not follow.*spoilers below for SMG4 Genesis and Revelation arcs*
So, the concept behind this pic is that, after Axol dies, his journey isn't quite over. My idea is that, In the SMG4verse, getting into heaven or hell isn't as simple as one may think. Rather than going straight to heaven, Axol finds himself in a purgatory of sorts, and in this purgatory, he will be tested, to see where his soul will end up. This scene is one of the tests, wherein Axol is forced to confront his own inner demons in the form of the one who possessed him and the monster he was turned into.
