I like the overall design and the details. Working with a ballpoint can have some nice effects or can turn into disaster (smudging). Looks like you did a fine job scanning this, most times I have to scan an image a few dozen times before I get the details and tones to come out better. Even then it always feels like I didn't get the whole sense of the image copied. Oh, well...at least we have proof of the originals in our own hands.
