Description On a whim one day I decided it'd be a good idea to pick up charcoals. I have a lot of friends who think that the medium is beautiful and always encouraged me to pick it up since I enjoy working with graphite and doing finger smudging so much.

So I did. I've never worked with charcoals before and I do not count the time I was (grudgingly) forced to in highschool. It was of a vase... I did not care so it doesn't count.

Anywho, I am proud to say this was all free hand and without reference. I tend to be a quick artist so it took me a solid twenty minutes or so.

What really got me though was when taking the picture, the camera picked it up on face detection... how cool is that? I think it's pretty nifty.

Enjoy~!
