So, this one isn't really an Age of Sigmar model, since I decided to convert him for 40k use. I have another who'll be of AoS when I get him done.The 'conversion' in this case was really as simple as leaving off the model's pet Flesh Hound and adding a Chaos Power Fist, with a little trimming so that the elbow pad of the Power Fist fell in the right place. Other than that I left the model stock because come on, just look at it.
I'd been looking to try out Kor'lath, the Axe of Khorne which replaces the bearer with a Bloodthister when he dies, so when I saw this guy I knew the time had come. Combining it with a Power Fist gives various useful options, so Darmoth can run headlong at the enemy and not care at all whether he lives or dies, hence him not being called 'Darmoth the Prudent'. I painted the eyes in the skull on the axe, and the eyes in his skull-like head, with the same flaming effect to help bring home the idea that the axe is already in control and driving him to his death. Khorne cares not!

(Hmmm. I like the concept, I like the axe, I like his skull helmet thing, and the skull near to his right shoulder, think that brass idolized skull thing looks really neat. While I can see the power gauntlet, he doesn't strike me as a Terminator, not bulky enough I don't think, and I'd personally have him more pegged as a Chaos Lord. Still, like the character, looks impressive and intimidating.)
