My prize is a CTC 8 Family Tree!
Symbolism – My prize is a plant, which is meant to represent new life, as this is a new season after all with (mostly) new players. The long wait for this season is also represented by having to wait for the plant to grow to reveal the true meaning of the prize. The contestants can learn that all good things come with time and patience…
How it works – The paper is stuck onto parts of the branches with tape before the plant has fully grown. The contestant is then given their plant. If the contestant does not look after the plant, then they will not get to see the cool reward and the prize would be useless. The contestant can even take the plant home with them after the season is over. As the tree grows the paper would spring out blossoming like a flower to reveal what’s on the paper.
Family Tree – All 21 contestants have a picture of themselves on the tree. The Christmas tree lights (which I guess you could plug in to make the tree glow) connects each contestant to one another. The connections are based on things that could connect the contestants together ancestry (not implying that its canon, it’s just for fun). The connections are mostly just based on the most common things that would connect each object together like what they’re made of. Each set of leaves a contestant is on is on makes their connections are much closer as for example Drone, Palladium, and Chemical Waste are together since they’re all primary metal based.
