145 million years ago In what is now the Late Jurassic-Early Cretaceous Phu Krafung Formation of Thailand, a pair of the cat-sized ornithopod Minimocursor phunoiensis quickly evade an attack from Chalawan thailandicus, an ancient southeast Asian relative of the giant Cretaceous crocodyliform Sarcosuchus that is named after an infamous crocodile king of Thai legend. Minimocursor is the first basal ornithischian described from Southeast Asia, and possibly one of the most-completely preserved dinosaurs from the region. The type specimen may in fact represent a juvenile animal, and adult Minimocursor may have reached lengths of about 2 meters long.References:
