Ed is a lead character from Flashpoint, a CTV cop drama, and has no magical ability whatsoever. Through a chain of unusual events, he acquires enough magic to have an Animagus form, although he cannot use any other type of magic. While Flashpoint does not have any elements of magic, the series incorporates Flashpoint with Harry Potter, Narnia, and BBC’s Merlin."
