I like the concept behind this drawing.
The colors for the ground are well chosen. The bloodspot are easily recognised and the color reminds us of the ground on earth thus makes it familiar for us. The texture is nicely shaded!
the figures are well done and nicely shaded.. the pig on top has a great expression, a bit bossy, a bit angry and very determined! Although the fight must have been hard, considering the blood, the figures going to the landingzone don't look defeated, instaed they project a feeling of we'll be back for another fight!!
The firing machine is very detailed and is obviously gaurding the pigs around it. the reflection of the sky and the tower is a nice touch!
The tower with the scanning equipment looks real, but i think it's pointingthe wrong way.. it looks sideways, while i think it should point towards the landingzone, searching for enemy planes that could sweep in there. (but that just my opinion)
The evac-plane looks good .. it has all it needs to be believable: a number, a red cross, the landingweels out and those engine-like things to slow down the descend. It looks great! the detail is excellent! Also the way it blows dust away on the landingzone is great.. i really like that!
The sky with the firey bottom, where there seems to be some silhouets of buildings and the added firingtrails are great. However i would have liked to have seen a more treatening sky.. more cloudy formation which hang low to emphasise the fire and to give it that touch of darkness.
Overall a great drawing!
