The life of a novelistis not one full of riches and fame
More so, that of one with pain
The best writers are those who have been hurt
Pen on paper, word after word their only comfort
They are the ones who bottle it all in
That of which can not be released by even the strongest gin
Characters created reflect things hidden.
Usually those best left unbidden.
A writer is observant
but not always forthcoming with it
They prefer to let the plot play out
Knowing exactly what it is about
Fate is best left to the main character
That of which, an author is never
They are like the cheshire cat
And, they are perfectly content with that
Although many disagree,
A writer is indeed an artist
They skillfully weave words together
Trapping you in their web forever
Just like what I have done now
No need to wonder how
I am, after all, a writer
