Description ( Okay, I agree the last persons comment was unnecessary, but please listen.) America is not the only country who has done this, let's take a look back imperialism, shall we? Why is it that all the blame always goes to the U.S.? Anyone remember Russia and Afghanistan? Belgium and the Congo? England and India? The Soviet Union and their own people, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Bulgaria, Hungary, Romania, Poland, East Germany and the like? Jews in Germany, and, well, fucking everywhere? Communist China? North Korea? Cambodia? I'm so tired of feeling like I should be ashamed of my country, and only my country, and that every other country was perfectly clean. I know it's in the past and all that, but really. Do not only hate on America, and it is extremely disrespectful to turn a countries flag upside-down and write on it. War will inevitably end with the death of innocent people, it's a sad and cruel truth. I respect soldiers and the army, not just the U.S.'s, but that of other countries. It's people fighting for their country and what they believe in, and you have to have respect for people who at least try to do what they believe is right. It is wrong that innocent people die, it is bad that we have war, and it is bad that these things happen. Why is it that other countries refuse to go take care of problems, make America go do it, and then "throw a brick at them"?

I'm sorry if you disagree with me, but this is my honest opinion. I've seen and heard stories of soldiers and they way they were treated by the people who they tried to protect and fight for that make me want to cry. One of my former teachers once told me a story of how soldiers returning home from Vietnam were screamed at by American people when they returned and told they weren't wanted anymore and that they should go back to Vietnam because they fought. Think about how that must have felt. I may not always agree with the actions and policy of some countries, including America, but I do love my country, and I do respect, honor, and love our soldiers. I'm neither a Republican nor a Democrat, so don't get started with that. I'm just a girl who has seen what happens to veterans and soldiers in and out of the battlefield, and it make me sick.
