Eh, people just look at the better art more. Doesn't mean that they won't be willing to talk to you in other venues, or if you comment on their page or whatever.

People probably had their own reasons why they look at good work of art. Just because you like the artwork doesn't mean you could be friends with them. Most good artists can be... a bit a jackhole if you catch my drift. And other people with drawings that aren't that good doesn't get that kind of respect. Some people would love to put crap on their artwork and spit on it, then rubbing it in. People like in the real world can be uptight with insensitive criticism. Other thing is it doesn't matter if the art was fairly good. It's the experience and respect that counts.
