Story:

Ever since his scuffle with Fandral, Requiem had felt twitchy and itchy. Like an adrenaline rush that he couldn't shake. It was late and he was restless. Try as he might to burn off that energy digging himself a deep pit to sleep in, he just couldn't settle down. Finally in frustration he decided to go for a walk around the ranch, though he steered clear of Fandral's area. He had only been slightly tempted to poke the cat and see if he could burn off this itch in another scuffle, but thought better of it. He just wasn't that kind of Pokemon.

He felt so unlike himself tonight, so impatient and twitchy. The feeling wasn't getting better, in fact the more he tried to burn off the feeling, the stronger it seemed to be getting. He was starting to feel worried. Maybe he was sick, did he eat anything different, maybe have a run in with a poison pokemon or it's spores and he hadn't noticed? Maybe it was that pokerus or whatever, that thing was he'd heard about...but that couldn't be right either. That was suppose to be a good thing, something that made the pokemon it attached to stronger. He didn't think that was it either.

Finally after wondering around for a better part of the night he decided to just stop. Nothing was working...but when he stopped, the feeling started building up even more, faster till he felt like he was going to split his skin..."Wha...?!!!" And suddenly he felt like all the energy his body had been building Burst!!!
His whole body glowed brightly, the itching turned to pressure and he felt like he was stretching out of his skin, and still the energy kept bursting out. His head, his back, his legs, his whole body felt like it was stretching. Everywhere he'd felt itchy suddenly felt like it was being pulled out, but not painfully. Nothing about what was happening was painful...just different, odd, hard to even decipher what exactly it felt like because nothing had ever felt quite like this before. He couldn't see because of the blinding light, but just as quickly as the light had come it was suddenly gone, like the bursting of a balloon.

He was...Evolved!!! He had evolved into a Vibrava!!!! what a delight!!! His whole body felt loose, less confined and no longer stiff. His tail swished back and forth experimentally, and he gave his wings a quick test flutter. They vibrated with an eagerness to be used. "Why disappoint them" he thought. Without further nudging he took to the night air with renewed vigor.

Wait until Fandral saw him now!!!
