Description Paige has quite an impressive list of features, a complex variety of experimental technology and destructive machinery. When repairs are needed, however, it's typically not too hard to do, and doesn't require Paige to fully shut down. Her construction is able to be broken down into major areas: head, torso, and abdomen. The torso houses the hydraulics and plasma engine generator functions, and the the abdomen houses the anti-grav engines and grenade launchers.

As for her head, it houses her artificial intelligence and motion command interface. The latter is designed to make her analyze and identify the rest of her body, and control it as necessary. This synchronization is not lost until her head is plugged into a different body or interface. This means that if some major component is detached (i.e. her abdomen), she's able to control it even when not attached, if just to reunite everything. There are even wireless signal transmitters in numerous body locations when they go missing, so that she can more easily retrieve them.

With this "segmented" setup, it means that any problem area can be detached and worked on while a spare of the area can be installed in its place. The most troublesome area would be the head, however; if there are damages or a serious error occurs, Paige does have to shut down for repairs to be made, and this requires Dr. Dekko's specialized machine to deactivate her processes and access her programming.

Paige, your legs are supposed to go with you when you go over the hurdle. This isn't a place for a tech demonstration, no matter how awesome.

I'm fairly sure this would get her disqualified in the 110-meter hurdles...

Ya know... she DID technically over OVER the hurdle... Β And she didn't knock it down either. Β Ah! Β But she DID use her hands ta help her!

I guess that's against the rules, but surely very few hurdles participants can do that.

She's halfway there, at least. :3

And again, my imagination works in predictable ways. Β I get this image of Paige literally losing her head and her body chasing after it a it rolls down a hill somewhere.

Alternately, she'd be great for the old magician act of the segmented lady in the box.

Why does the bowling alley scene from Men In Black 3 come to mind here?

So Paige is an android. I thought she was a cyborg.

Nope, Paige is not a cyborg. Though there are the rumors that Dr. Varia might be one...
