Description
That smug look won’t get off of her opponent’s visage, and it was pissing Kyros off.Another punch had been blocked by Yue. In return she just gave the same smirk back, no counter or anything. They back off once again and wait for the next exchange from each other. Yue had a few light bruises here and there but for the most part she could keep this up all day. The smug look on her face wasn’t for show. Kyros on the other hand was in terrible shape, 3 rounds of constant beatings and she was barely holding up her hands. Breath shaky and her vision narrowing, she wasn’t sure herself if she could keep this up. The only thing keeping her standing on her two feet was adrenaline and anger. She had been waiting for this day to come to have her revenge since that fateful day many years ago. This was not their first encounter, if anything this was their first time having to trade punches on a more… softer floor compared to cement. At least that was how Yue had explained it to Kyros when they were on the ground trying to strangle each other previous rounds ago.
Kyros makes the next move, she tries to feint a kick. The next thing she knew was she was looking at the lights above her and some spots of blood mixed with saliva. There was also a vague shape of a mouthguard but she wasn’t sure. Her head hit the floor and her body starts to shut down. She glances to notice a fist in the air in place.
“And another bloodbath in the ring!! A beautiful uppercut by Yue! Even the rising star Kyros couldn’t stand a chance!!” The announcer’s words echoed the stadium and the crowd roared.
Yue looks down on Kyros, her grin ever so wide. “If you thought you could beat me in the ring, my ring especially, that’s really cute.” There was a moment of pause before she squats down near Kyros’s face. For the first time the smile turned into a scowl, and despite the pain Kyros did get a little joy seeing something a little more familiar. “You really do deserve to stay on the streets where you belong.”
By then Kyros had blacked out.
