umm i haven't found the time (or motivation) to draw as of lately so here-- have an old piece starring everybody's favorite robot; mtt!!------
brief info;; Dr. Alphys originally built Mettaton to observe the way land-walkers lived, by the King's request & sheer curiosity. mtt, however, lost interest in his objective as soon as he was launched onto the sea's surface, abandoning his supposed role, friend/inventor, cousin Napstablook, just about everything back underwater as a result. he became a pirate instead; one of, if not the most, the deadliest pirates known both to land && sea dwellers. he acts like a narcissistic killer robot but in all actuality, he holds no desire to hurt anyone-- only doing so if he must.
deep down, he actually misses Alphys & their friends . . . & regrets abandoning his old home even though he doesn't want to admit it.
