(Image was paid for and requested by )It was a nice afternoon in Kajuaru town as Komadori and alex were on a mission to track down another OOpart that was said to be hidden somewhere near the city after a failed VHa experiment on it years back. But as the two where walking around downtown to find some info on it the pair happened to come across Chihiro, whom was working in one of the plaza's to get some fresh air on this pleasent late summers day. with Komadori seaming to fawn over the young trans girl's exposed bare foot which made Alex a little jealous once he noticed. So with a sigh and a small pout he slipped off her left shoe and sock, and pressed his bare foot on top of Komadori's right boot clad foot in order to draw her attention away from Chihiro, likely not wanting to lose his girlfriend to anyone else.

"heh heh fine then come and get me you little witch!" the girl exclaimed with a giggle Lowel cast 7 lighting arrows and fired them towards the girl, who just jumped out of their way a she teased on. "really now? i expected more for a wind mage like you!"

*However, as she was still in the air, Kana quickly jumped up towards the mysterious blond-haired girl in order to deliver a punch.*

“Heh your so stupid!” The girl exclaimed as she quickly moved to deliver a kick to kana’s side, a small blade deploying from the toe of her shoe while in motion

Kana: *She gasped as she quickly got ready to block the incoming attack, seeing how she was too close to pull off an evasive maneuver.*

with a swift motion the girl's shoe blade implaled itself into Kana's arm, soon undeploying as kana was through into a pile of illegal trash making Lowel cry out as he started to run over. "KANA-CHAN!"
"hmff such a weakling didn't deserve to live." the girl stated in a cold tone just as Komadori, Abigail and alex reached the scene.

Komadori: "Ah, what the hell! Can't we go on a SINGLE freaking OOpart hunt without some VHA bitch getting in the waaaay?!?!" *She angrily whined.*

"well well what brings you here Black ca..." the girl started to ask when she looked over at the group that just arrived, but once she noticed abigail and komadori her tone changed as she exclaimed with surprise." ....wait what are you doing here with that traitor? And whos that other girl with you?"
"crap...Frenda-san...what are you doing here? I throught you were in tokyo? Alex asked with a small groan as abigail started to look a little scared. with Lowel distracted as he was currently digging kana out of the trash pile she landed in.
"Oh thats simple, i was reassigned after a certain someone betrayed Estelle-sama...and lived it seamed." Frenda answered starting to walk towards the trio, glaring at Abigail as she did so.

Komadori: "Whoa whoa whoa! Hold the phone! You know her Alexis-chan? And Abigail-chan is what? This girl is what? What the hell is going on?!?!" *She whined holding her head with both of her hands.*

"ugh...Komadori-san...meet Frenda-baka...one of the agencys close combat experts....and a somewhat friend..." alex intraduced with a sigh as the blond now identified as frenda spoke up and looked at alex with the same kind of glare she gave abigail before she replied. "thats right, and just what are you doing with that traitor Abigail? You know shes kill on sight at this point."
"Look i needed some help looking for an artifact in the area and i figured she could help..." alex lied trying to protect Komadori and abigail the best he could, as he held komadori's hand and whispered. "play along"

Komadori: "Yes.....I was helping.....um....these two. I discovered the artifact by accident...." *She nervously replied, acting to the best of her ability.*

"hm really now...heh i guess you have gotten sloppy since palm springs alex." Frenda said with a light chuckle as alex just stated with a groan. "look we might as well recover this artifact and get it back to the nearest safehouse."
"um right....i'll show you where the lab was." Abigail replied a little nervous as she started to walk past Frenda who just followed the trio as they headed deeper into the site, abigail looking over at lowel with a saddened look as he focused on healing Kana's injurys.

Komadori: ("Ugh.....I swear I don't get paid enough for this...") *She thought as she wasn't comfortable with leaving the two teens that were just attacked behind*

"so alex are you still partnered up with that quinn girl?" Frenda asked with a slightly more happy and relaxed tone as alex replied with a small blush though tried to hide it. "um yeah...for the time being atleast, what about you?"
"eh i got moved to being Estelle's partner since that suki girl isn't really agency material." Frenda replied with a casual tone as abigail stayed quiet, hugging sneaker-kun tightly as they started down a dark hallway.

"yeah shes some red haired neko girl that seams to be living with Estelle-sama these days, i think she's a witch too but Estelle for whatever reason hasn't put her head on a wall yet." Frenda said with a small shrug as alex looked a little confused hearing that as did Abigail who squeaked out. "that doesn't sound like estelle-baka..."
"hm..yeah abigail-san's right, it's a little off." Alex stated a little confused as he rubbed his chin

Komadori: A nekomimi AND a witch. That's a match made in hell when it comes to being a VHA target. So why would the White Witch herself leave a witch alive on purpose, especially if she's not serving her like that? XP" *She pondered.*

"fuck if i know rookie...honestly i think she is just keeping her around for some healing magic or whatever." Frenda stated as they reached an old rusted metal door with alex asking. "well we can worry about that latter, looks like were here...though how are we getting in here?"
"hm let me look around, likely theres an old keypad around here that can still open it." Abigail remarked as she used some light magic to get a better look around

Komadori: "What else do you think's in that old bunker thingy?" *She whispered to Alex.*

"likely lots of old quinn tech and likely info on artifacts that got shattered years ago." Alex whispered back as abigail called out from behind a pile of old parts. "Found it!"
"good open it up." Frenda stated a little annoyed as Abigail looked at alex a little nervous as he jsut nodded and reached into his jacket, his hand on the knock out pistol Komadori gave him before, so Abigail activated the panel and the door slowly started to open.

Komadori: *She stays silent for a couple of moments as the door housing the artifact opened, looking anxious.*

the door soon slid open to show an old lab that looked for the most part prestine, however as they entered they saw a test chamber that looked pretty messed up through a large window.

Komadori: "That's unusual......the whole lab looks as good as new. But that test chamber's totalled." *She notes.*

"likely they left the place like this in case someone had to come back." Abigail replied looking around at some o the notes as Frenda looked inside the chamber. "hm...I think the artifact was inside here but i don't see it...maybe it's buried...."
as Frenda started to turn towards alex he shot her with witht he special gun, hitting her in the arm as she soon passed out and feel to to the ground. Once she was passed out Alex stated with a small sigh. "Look lets finid the artifact and get out, i don't know how long the effect will last or until those teens call the police."

Komadori: "Wow.....that was anticlimactic. Not that I'm complaining though." *She giggled* "Now....which spot would I bury an OOPart?"

"i'll got check to see if they had any notes around here, komadori-san you and alex ho check the test chamber, maybe it's still down there after causing that." Abigail suggested as she started to look arround for folders as alex nodded, heading to the door to the chamber as he started to open it.

*As the enter the chamber, they notice something rather peculiar....*

"hm strange what is that?" Alex asked moving towards the peculiar object in the middle of the room, with robotic arms and such embedded into it.

*The object appeared to take the form of a black and white mechanical bacteriophage, which appeared to be pulsing with a faint blue light. The bottom appears to have what looks to be a stinger which is embedded into the ground. The robot arms embedded into it almost seems to be dissolving a little with the exposing wiring and corroding metal. It was dripping with what looked to be dark blue liquid.*
Komadori: "Whooooaaaa......look at this creepy piece of tech. By the looks of it, as well as the faint magic I can sense within it, this has to be it!" *She stated as she looked in awe.* "All of the other OOParts are exactly what they are: artifacts. But this one's different....it look more like a powerful magical weapon, possibly hailing from the beginning of magickind. But oddly enough, I barely sense all THAT much mana in it."

"hm...maybe this one predates mana being in fused in them and is more machine in nature? after all some of the tales i read of inverse mars stated they were very advanced even duing the dark ages." Alex explained as he got a little closer to the stinger.

Komadori: "It's not that simple Alex-kun. Even if the Mana was fused with the OOPart, I could still sense it. But I sense something seriously off with this one. Be careful around at, okay? I have a really bad feeling about this. I can feel it. XP" *She said, a little concerned.*

"you know i am too...maybe we should." alex said moving away from it as abigail burst into the room and exclaimed. "Don't touch that! whatever you do don't!"

Komadori: "Chill! We weren't going to touch it anyways. I mean, all of that blue goo all over it CAN'T be easy to wash off. XP"

"thats not normal goo, that is the remains of bodily fluid." Abigail revealed as alex backed away a bit more as he asked. "just what is this thing?"

Komadori: "No, there's no way it could be a mana-powered automaton. Machines can't bleed or coom! XP" *She states.*

"It's because the magic in this is different, according to the few files they seamed to forget about shredding, they stated that this could contain mana from something or someone known as the 'mage of the begining'." Abigail explained showing some of the data readings that were in the file in her hands, with alex questioning a bit confused. "and what is this mage of the begining? some kind of powerful magic user?"

Komadori: "Some say the Mage of the Beginning isn't necessarily a wizard, witch, or creature. Rather, it's more like the raw manifestation of Mana itself. At least, that's what I've heard." *She added.*

"hm still that doesn't explain this...did the notes say anything else?" Alex questioned looking back at the mass with Abigail admitting. "No most likely they took anything with useful data back with them or destoryed it....but they talked about how it was like a disease."

Komadori: "A disease...? This bluff stuff looks more like acid. XP" *She nodes*.

“Yeah well by the look of things the lab techs torched this thing, just look at the burn marks.” Alex said bumping one of the arms by accident, which in return the mass groaned as if a motor was warming up.
“We better go.” Abigail stared a little scared

*Suddenly, some more of the rather hot goo began to trickle down out of the one of the orifices of the 'artifact'.*

"Run! Run!!" Abigail exclaimed as she ran out of the room, quickly followed by alex and Komadori, with the boya asking once he closed the chamber door. "shit! what do we do? is there anyway to stop this thing?"

Komadori: "Wait, it activated on its own?" *She said before grabbing Abigail by her arms.* "What's going on, what's going to happen, what do we do, are we all going to die, explain yourself! O_O"

"look i'm not even sure...most of the files here are useless and only contain minor reports of tests." Abigail explained a little scared herself as alex stated. "well whatever the case we ether have to contain this or destory it."

"then what about melting it down like in that robot uprising film?" abigail suggests.

Komadori: "Hmmm.....I dunno. Did you see the steam coming from the liquid? I think it might be a little sensitive to any fire magic." *She replied before suggesting* "Maybe we could try freezing it?"

“That could work, know any ice spells?” Abigail questioned as Alex stated while swapping out the rounds in his pistol and holding the door shut“Don’t worry I have some ice rounds that motte-San made.”

"ah right..." still can you girls please help with the door..." alex asked as he struggled to reload while holding the door while Abigail exclaimed as she ran over. "here let me help!"
