Description
The stage is set. Here comes the final act. The mad doctor has done it now. The Freedom Fighters are getting ready for the final battle of their lives.

“It seems y’all have made it to the final stage. I commend you for that. Your efforts have brought you here this far. However, it is not over until I say it is over. Snively! Activate him.”

“As you wish, sir.”

With a click of a button the barriers start opening. Everyone is getting ready for what is coming but the question really is who or what has been summoned? Was it Metal Sonic? Mecha Sonic? Just what did Robotnik mean by “him”? Whatever it is, the resistance team should be able to handle it, right?

The doors are no longer closed. It is time to reveal the opponent. The mech has stepped out. It is ready for battle. It is ready to terminate as part of its priorities. There was something odd about this mech. It looks familiar. The resemblance is uncanny. Sally, who is the leader of the resistance, takes a good look at the mech. A real good look at it. Her jaw drops. She couldn’t believe it. The mech she sees before her is none other than her friend. Someone who means dear to her and everyone else. They consider him family. A member. Friend. The warrior of a fallen tribe. Hezron. He must have been captured even though he is capable when it comes to brute strength and being capable of wielding the power of chaos from the mythic gems themselves. Now that he has been turned into a machine this fight here is indeed not going to be smooth.

“I’m sure you all recognize your fellow member. I managed to capture him. Caught him off guard at his weakest. I placed him inside the roboticizer. The very machine I used on everyone I have captured robs them of their humanity as they have become tools to serve only but one purpose. Me. Their true ruler of mobius. Say hello to Mecha Hezron. My greatest creation yet. His only goal right is to terminate my enemies. Just like I did the very same to his family. Now then, serve your purpose and exterminate the pests.”

“Priorities. Terminate the Freedom Fighters and expand the empire of Julian Robotnik.” The mech replied.

Tears begin streaming down the face of Princess Sally. She couldn’t believe it. It explains everything now. They haven’t heard from him for a while. She has been worried sick. And here we are. About to face her friend. Does she have what it takes? What about the others? Will they fight their fallen warrior or is there a slight chance of a miracle they can save him? We will have to use our imagination and see what happens then.

(Project story known as Freedom Fighters Forever. A story that is inspired and supposed to be a darker take on the classic Sonic comic books published by Archie Comics Industry. My Sonic phase has returned and I am excited to see where this will take me. I’m just your average human who wants to create stories and combine it with my art. Someday I want to be a comic book artist. And writing is something I want to do along with it. This is Heizron Lackowitz Fisher. I hope we can learn and enjoy reading each other’s work.)
