I really don't want to put you down, but if you kicked out Rouge, this would be an instant fav. I just really am not a fan of anything hinting Shadow and Rouge as a couple.

I don't think the picture is hinting at Shadow and Rouge as a couple simply because she's in the scene. Owo; It's not in shipping clubs.
From a shipper's perspective, they might think Shadow's pose in the picture suggests he's protecting Rouge. But in mine, I just thought he was in battle stance, readying himself to take on Mephie here. If the artist wanted to suggest a protection-stance, it would've been better if Rouge was facing Shadow's way instead of standing in the background as if she "just realized what was going on" because that would make it more clear. The fact that Rouge is "turned around" the other way gives off a mixed message. Shadow wasn't protecting her in the game in this scene either [they were about ten fifteen feet away from each other

Another lovely piece of work that expresses a great deal of your talent and knowledge for art. I find this piece to demonstrate a great deal of energy and telling a story through the body anatomy of the characters along with the setting as well. The way you represent this scene of the 06 game is extraordinary and through your style of drawing implements the scene beautifully.
I feel your art has greatly improved and the way you apply such rough brush work is an element that all it work so well. The additions of effects such as the drips are a nice touch as well.

This definitely has that creepy feel, but it fits as Mephiles was actually a pretty creepy villain.
