How do people do washes with water color? Is it just a gray sort of washy black paint?

yeah just diluted water color. I squeeze some out on a palette and I have water in a cup as well as in the other dips in the pallete.

excellent pic. Hasn't anyone figured out that they are the perfect couple. She absorbs power and he gives it off. Duh! All she has to do is control it a little or he can regain his full abilities (check out his wikipedia to find out how his full potential was blocked).

really has a very 90's feel for me. but in a very positive way. i don't follow the mutants, much less Marvel, anymore...so i'm not sure whats up with them...
glad you used the classic 90's outfits. after that, it's hard to remember their looks...i think Marvel (and other publishers as well) will slow down a bit enough for people to register character visuals
they keep changing looks like Paris changes boys!hahahha!
