Description
You who have been following my work for a while might know that I try to find fractal frames for some of the pieces I like the most myself. The other day I found the only possible framework for my fractal pastiche of Dalí's "Basket of bread":
Some of my earlier framings:
These two will be part of the upcoming exhibition at Värmlands museum…
Mandelbulb 3D, montage done in Photoshop.
I wish you all a great weekend!

I agree with Lia that something about it is off but I think that if the "painting" was shifted just a touch to the left it would correct what we are seeing, but it is your baby and who am I to say it isn't perfect.

OK, in that sense you are right... and wrong
I should correct the position more to the right (not to the left) according to Dalis original...
You want to center it, and that would make the interesting unbalance of the original image go away...
but I agree I didn't make it obvious I will change that!
Thank you Jas!

Pandoras Box.
Well, it would be... Except that the Man and the Air Ballon kinda throw that theory off... Didn't expect them.

They came in from the right side of the image.

Very elaborate frame - humorous because so extreme in comparision to "just a mundane loaf of bread"
.
Something isn't quite working in the composition for me though. The plane of the frame and of the bread seem at odds. If the "bread" is positioned to overlap the top of the frame...
Interesting commentary!

Well I didn't do any perspective change on the "painting" on purpose... After all it is a Fractalic Mystical Container...
Thank you Lia, glad you got the message!

I meant to move it up and overlay the frame - as if it were coming out of a box. A matter of position. Hard to describe what I mean. OFC it is your vision that needs conveying, after all. Got me to look much closer than I might have otherwise!

I know, I did try that too, but I felt it became a bit too obvious.
The way it is now is more confusing, and I like that!
Glad you like Lia!
