Description
Been busy learning how to make 3D models for 3D printing some sculptures of my old works but here is something I stumbled into on my tries (I did a 3D model of it, we'll see if it gets printed.Mandelbulb 3D

Thank you Nic, now I only have to learn how to print unprintable fractal 3D models...
Thank you for your tutorial, haven't followed it yet but I will try it out!

Nice one Johan!
I like the hard shadows. Hope to see an image of the 3d print if it gets done.

Well, as I told Levi: If there will be any... There are still many limitations in 3D printing, it is not very suitable for fractals I have learned, but I have two other prints arriving today!
Glad you like it Brent!

...if there will be one... I think those little "spikes" might be a problem, you know
But I measured them to 0.9mm thick in netfabb, so... we'll see
Thank you J!

I guess you refer to the 0.7/0.8mm thin wire limit in WS&F (note that you also have to take the angles into account). Anyway, this material is excellent to start playing with the 3D printing concept and you can get acceptable results with 1 or 2 coats of paint, but IMO Frosted Detail has a much better potential because it looks like a smooth casted piece whereas WSF is very rough, porous and less detailed (although very strong, this is true). Contrary to the recommendation, I feel that even Stainless Steel is more detailed than WS&F. I still have to make meaningful tests with the Fine Detail materials.

Thanks for the tips Jérémie!
I will hopefully get a sample each very soon, the two of my seven orders which got through all the way to production.
