Sick day gave me some time to draw just for fun, haven’t done that in a while.
I hope everyone’s had this experience. You get that text message and see who it is and what they said, and you just can’t help but smile.
Technology gets a bad rep, I think. People blame it for “making us into zombies, ruining communication,” when really their complaint is just about people who lack tact or common sense - and that didn’t start with smartphones. I think they forget that on the other end of that little screen is a PERSON that we’re connecting with.
Also: Glitter pens. I want to draw more things and outline them with glitter pens.

Those are the best texts.
Nice thing about texting is that you have some time to think up a good response. Talking in person rarely affords you a moment of silence to think without it being awkward.
