What can I say?
Other than "I need to stop drawing boring straight on head shots and use the same shading tricks over and over again", that is... I was just trying to improve my design of Edward (that really wonky face from last time bothere me to no end) and even though I said I had a father & son piece with Carlisle in mind, I really wanted to draw him in his "snapped" state, just to see what it would look like. So this isn't from a particular moment in either book, just something I wanted to try. After seeing the illustrations from the Japanese books, I was really tempted to change his hair style, but then I realised I'd probably end up drawing something way too similar to Light from Death Note, so I stuck with what I drew last time instead. Oh and where's his shirt? I don't know! If Jacob and the boys can lose their shirts so easily, why not Edward, eh?
I want to try drawing Bella now, which will probably be tricky seeing how I don't draw girls that much at all.
I've decided to read both books again (yes, I *know* I only finished less than a week ago) and this time I'm reading *much* more slowly, and taking notes too
Jeez, I'm sorry, I really need to cut down on the description...
ETA: I know Stephenie Meyer's vampires don't have fangs but I learned that some time after posting this and I'm too lazy to edit the picture...

Bu~t he does look scary and think I remember the description of his eyes.
A picture of Carlisle does seem to be a cool idea though.

You know, the first biology lesson, where she really can't understand why he's looking at her that way, sitting as far as he can and keeping his fists clenched throughout the lesson? It's even better when you read it from his POV.

*blinks a couple of times at those illustrations* Okaay... Weird, but then again (even though it's not transcripted over to a manga) I always did think it'd be another effective way to tell it. I did already have images in my head of them anyway so... it's a bit weird to them like that.

It's a bit weird, yes, I agree, but it's helped me quite a lot for some characters I couldn't portray (Jasper, for instance). Although they got Carlisle wrong.

Carlisle vaguely reminds me (now) of Ryuuken. Only in appearence though. Lean face, slightly longer than usual hair, that's blonde.

And yes, that somehow makes a difference.
Fai is from Tsubasa Chronicles! He's a really fun character, even though he's been angsting lately.
And er... he's got a similar lankiness (although that might just be because of CLAMP's style at the moment) and looks Scandinavian and er.. is a vampire now after having one of his eyes ripped out.

Thank you! I take it your friend's enjoying it, right? Like I said in the description, I'm reading Twilight again, *much* more slowly, which really was a good idea because I indeed read it too quickly the first time. And I'm writing down all sorts of things too, for reference.
