PS. Incase anyone was ever wondering how I feel about my own art.
I hate it most days. I hate almost all of it most days. I hate at least *something* every day.
And this piece is a huge example of that. I've been extremely grateful and relieved, how many other people are favoriting it.
As well as the fact that I was commissioned for this at all.
But the reality behind the art is.... I hate it. I dont hate it because I think it directly looks bad.
I hate it because its NOTHING like what I was actually striving to achieve.
I hate it because no matter how good or not it actually is, it's the fact that it is not what I was trying to accomplish, that gets me.
This is one of those many many many pieces that I do where after im done, I just feel disappointed in my skills and abilities as an artist.
I should have some inspirational thing to go along with this. I normally do, because even if I cant necessarily feel those things I know them to be true.
But im not going to this time. Simply because.. This kind of is a reality a lot of artists experience. We cant see what other people see in our art.
We see what we couldnt accomplish.

Its a whole 'nother layer of love and stress thrown into the art we make for our supporters when we push through something that we absolutely hate just because we cant achieve what we want to achieve with it.
But we try our best to make it look as good as we can for our great supporters and buyers.
It took a LOT of my will power not to literally throw this in the trash and give up on it, and recommend them find someone else to commission for this piece. It truly did.
But I wanted to finish this to the best of my ability, even if... that meant my abilities were less than what I actually wanted to achieve.
I didnt want to give up.

I guess if I had to include some sort of inspirational motivator in this. It would just be... Dont give up.
