I drew inspiration from the honeypot ant and amber, then thought it could do with an evo part way through designing it, so I named it Copant as in "copal" (young amber) and "ant", and am planning on giving it a flying queen ant evo - Antber. It would sort of be like a Combee, Vespiquen line thing. I might consider doing a male evo and female worker ant evo, so if you were to train a female Copant to level 100 without evolving it into the female worker ant evo, it would evolve into the far stronger Antber.Hmm, that was really hard to follow... Apologies for that!

Yeah, not too happy with this one tbh. I don't really feel it fits the Sugimori vibe. Just looks a little rushed to me, ya know? It's a shame because it's not like I was being slapdash with it or anything. If anything, it went through more design changes than usual, so it was actually a fair bit more complex than, say, Eukoalyptus, or even Shrimpett.
Perhaps it flopped because I found it hard to change the design from honeypot ant to Pokémon, since honeypot ants practically ARE Pokémon as is! Just look at them!
I can only hope the rest of its evolutionary line works out better. :/
