I stop by a abandoned lab to scrounge for part. I enter the control I think...there lots of buttons.

I check the power. I found out that the storage batteries still had a little juice. I had to manually override the system to open all door by bypassing wires under the controll panal. I figured that whatever this was use for wouldn't matter since so much time has pass..

I held up a screwdriver so it couple be my weapon. I go down one of the hall checking out the area.

I stare at the footprints wondering what caused them and how there no mud in space.

I had an idea!
The idea is this, set in the Northern parts of Greenland, some random person with too much money on hand and too much time to spend is visiting an abandoned lab/base of some sorts. The fact it is abandoned in the Northern parts of "actually quite ice-y" Greenland leads to it being fairly cold inside, since heating hasn't been on in who knows how long. But while the lab is abandoned, that doesn't mean it is empty...
I'm playing as a person named Allison, she is here because she heard about it and thought it would be interesting to visit. She is dressed for the weather, which is to say bundled up quite well in warm clothes and a scarf. She has long red hair, and green eyes.
Does this sound good?

(The only reason I'm asking is because the first builds up some atmosphere, while the second gets to the action a bit quicker.)

Allison pushes open a large metal door, taking a good ten seconds to do so. The entrance leads to a small sort of "Reception" if one could call it that, consisting mostly of a wall of lockers, a long dead plant, and some stairs leading down, all illuminated by the light getting in from the doorway she stands in. Allison pulls a flashlight out of her pocket and walks to the top of the stairs. Turning it on and peering in to the darkness, she sees it goes on quite a distance.
"...This looks promising!" She says, starting to head down, leaving the door open since it wouldn't be as easy pulling as it was pushing, and she isn't exactly letting out any heat. She holds onto a handrail as she heads down, not wanting to slip on the concrete stairs, soon leading to another metal door, which she has to pull open, a bit less resistance than the one leading outside making this one far quicker, but just opening it was quite loud as old rusted metal ground against rusted metal. Doing this, she heads inside to the labs proper.
(Odd how the doors are easy to open in spite of being heavy metal. Let us not dwell on it!)

Allison shines her flashlight on the walls, trying to decipher the writing. However, this proves a bit fruitless.
She takes a backpack she brought with her off, and pulls a camera out of it, taking a picture of the writings, which she could post online as evidence she did in fact come out here, and continues walking. "Wonder if that was written as a warning or something." She wonders aloud. "Eh, whatever it was, it probably isn't still around."

Allison gets a bit concerned, trying to keep her balance. "What the- an earthquake?!" She wasn't expecting an earthquake during her visit. She hoped the base wouldn't collapse in on itself or something with her inside.
(I was originally going to have her include her pet snake, which she lovingly named Scarf. It isn't a small snake, it is a pretty big one, and she would have had it wrapped around her a bit so it would keep warm in the cold, but I decided not to since you would probably get tempted to make it the pred rather than whatever you come up with. Though if I did and you didn't use it as a pred, whatever would be the pred would be having a noodly meal after gulping down Allison!)

*a large boot crashes through the ceiling and lands in front of you*
(I'll have her pet snake as prey in the rp too, so you can include it.)

Allison is quite surprised, and by quite surprised I mean fell backwards covering her head to keep bits of concrete and dirt from possibly caving her in, her snake Scarf, an albino boa constrictor of a decent length, slithering off a bit in surprise. "Holy- What the heck is going on!?" She asks nobody in particular as she starts getting back up.
(Alright! We'll pretend she did have her snake this whole time!)
(Okay, while I don't really mind giant preds and the like, I was expecting things to go an entirely different direction since this base is a good twenty-thirty feet underground. This caught me completely by surprise.)

Allison looks up the hole, wondering what the HECK that was, or who, rather. "Hey! You nearly turned me and my pet to paste!" She shouts up the hole, then turns back noticing she doesn't have the oversized snake partially around her. It didn't get far, since it is cold.

*a large hand comes down the hole, and it grabs you and your snake*

She tries to struggle out of the hand, though this proves to be futile. The snake is confused, but enjoys the warmth.

lets do it then. ill be Christian Omega, I'm on board a Frigate in space orbiting Mars, Christian is not captain but he is good at using a Healing weapon on his Gauntlet. He is 19 years old and is about 5.9 ft tall wears a Bindcaster (www.bungie.net/en/Armory/Detai⦠) but no gloves or helmet. He wears regular Shoes and only has a Sidearm to defend himself from anything.
