I pulled out the ol' .psd from last summer yesterday and starting working on it again. I was just curious to see what tone you guys thought was cool out of the three.TOOLS : 3D Studio Max / Photoshop 5.5/6

The center seems to be the most natural considering it really doesn't pit in a definite color....but as a design the favorite is tied upon what you use it for.
Did you really make this last summer? I saw it on the DA lab's desktop like on february or something.

TOP ` although a nice powerful color, not very natural
MID ` that shade goes well with the green/black "stamp" on the "neck"
BOT ` natural/believable colors

I like the third (yellow/greenish) one. It looks like the tone you can get if you use toner on a b/w photo. but hey, Iยดm just a damn photographer.

the first one is definately a 'colder' one.
the middle pops out thee best, because of the contrasting colors.
the third, the earthy tones i think come across more natural and finished tho. juss because the tones n' colors are so similar yet not.. just looks a tad bit more finished and 'real' .. iono maybe im talkin out mah ass n' not makin sense, but i get it

I'm diggin the middle and top, but i like them all, i'm a bitch for deciding on colors. I might as well not even comment .
Center is probably the most unique,
Top is the most refreshing.
Bottom, it's well..it's the bottom...it's probably the most earth-like.

i like the bottom one most cause its color alows the texture to come out more... and the texture is awesome! i'd like to see it zoomed in...
upper one gives a wondefull metal-feel...

hmm top is really techy blue, middle os organic and bottom is bio-hazard. I think it'd look great if you did the top or middle one with the rips and gross bits of lovely texture as the bottom.

ahh....i was so happy to see you submitting something again....the center to me really gives a sci-fi organic feel... to me anyway... i just love that tone... all three are excellent color choices tho. anyway...this has always been one of my favorite peices....you own my favs ryan

Bottom - only tone that fits in with the type of entity, (assuming it is warm-blooded, alive, and lacking vivid skin pigments)

I would say the bottom of the three becasue it goes best with the green background.
But if it were just the heads and not the whole piece I would choose the middle one.

Personally I like the bottom one. I think Im a bit coloured blind but the two at the top look the same to me. The colours in the bottom one seem to go better.
