which lens parameters did you use?
did you use a flashlight?
I have the sigma 50mm/2.8 and I can always only use large aperture (2.8... 7.0), and a very narrow depth is the result. Other than in this great picture.
(Btw, do you know the species? is it some kind of agapanthia spec. or rather acanthocynus spec.?)
