awwww soooo cute! I love lynxes. we have one at the Sanctuary as well and she is the most adorable thing I've seen.
You caught his face really well and I love that he looks almost straight into the camera!

Kein Thema, geht mir doch genauso

Thanks so muchly! I visited my grandpa and took the chance to visit some Zoos and Parks with animals, I was so anxious to see there Lynx Cubs, Cheetah Cubs and a Black Panther... and I was rewarded with wonderful moments and nice photos of them, be curious!
Wow, "Ultimate Faves folder", "DD" Thanks a million for these so wonderful compliments!
Btw. I don't forget your other comments, I'll answer to them but I allow myself plenty of time, because I'll edit more pics, test other filters and rent a Macro Lens to take some great photos of my Coonies and their eyes, I hope so And I hope I can visit a Zoo or the Park with the young lynxes soon again

Hey Manu
I am so sorry that I have taken so long to reply. Stupidly I thought I'd replied to them all, then I realised I hadn't! So I'm so sorry.
How have you been? And how are Silver and Kimba and your family? Good I hope.
Wow it sounds amazing that zoo and the photos you took are fantastic! You will definitely be a professional photographer and known the world over! Aww you're welcome, you deserve every single compliment cause your photos are incredible.
I'll reply to the rest of your comments too soon, I"m really sorry this is so late.
Awesome, how was the Macro lens you rented? I bet you go lots of great photos. I got a bookazine on macro photography the other day and it's brilliant, now I really want to get a macro lens and be able to get so close to everything and see all the tiny details in nature. Have you been back to the zoo? What have you been up to?

Manu34 In reply to ChloeClik [2013-10-27 00:28:47 +0000 UTC]
No problem, I'm very often with replies very late too, for example now
Silver and Kimba feel well I think, they enjoy the cuddle moments and the nature intensity.
And I'm studying Biology now. It makes fun but currently we have lots of chemistry, maths and physics and too less biology, but it's only for the first term
Next, I'm going to sell my Nex-5n camera and buy an annual ticket for the Zoo in Hamburg, so that I can frequently visit and photograph the animals there
Awww, thank you so much for your sweety compliments, I hope too I'll be sometime a pro photographer.
Too bad I couldn't rent the Macro lens because they wanted for the first rent a credit card or the money (as much as the lens costs) as pawn. But by a lucky chance I got the money for the lens and now I own the Macro and now we both have a macro lens... somehow funny
And the Macro makes so much fun, not only for Macro-photography but also for cat-portraits...
I hope you have lot of fun with your new camera-stuff too
Btw. I look forward to the winter's snow. I would gladly see how Kimba and Silver would jump and run in snow

Hey Manu
How have you been? And how are your lovely kitties? Aww I'm not surprised. I love hugging Arran and Skye though sometimes they only put up with it for food You know what cats are like
That's great. How is your biology going?
Wow that's a shame to sell your camera, but I think having a pass to the zoo is brilliant! You can go there whenever you want. I have a pass to our local zoo and I'd spend everyday there if I could Have you been there yet?
Ah sounds like it was good you couldn't get the lens cause now you own one. It's brilliant isn't it. I got an amazing bookazine called Macro photography. The photography inside it is incredible! Haha that is funny.
Oh yes I can't wait for snow as well. Haha I bet they absolutely love that.
Have you been watching anything good on tv recently?
Bye

Hey Chloe,
I visited the hospital last week but now I'm at home again with my two warriors
Kimba and Silver got bigger and bigger but they're still like kids and bring a lot of fun in this house, I feel so happy with them
Biology is great but sometimes there are lectures with profs who explained for example physics a bit too boring. And I have to learn by heart a lot of terms. But I like the feeling to study and many biology topics are very fascinating.
Oh yes, it makes so much fun to visit exotic animals in my free time whenever i want, too bad that I need the permission by the zoo and that I have to pay when I want to share the photos here on DA or on other forums
Your local zoo is certainly great, I was only in german zoos yet but I would love to visit other zoos in Europe , I hope sometime I can preferable like "Life on White" (little dream of me )
Yes, macro photography is really great, and there are amazing macro photos all over the world and here on DA. I'm sure sometime we will take incredible macro shots too...
I wish I could be in the north with my Coonies with very big snow drifts, I'm sure they would love to jump in the snow
Not on tv but on the web I had seen the series "Wolf's Rain" and I love it so much, it's a great mix of humans and wolfs with a wonderful story and many emotions, I can only recommend
Wish you a merry second sunday in advent

Hey Manu
Oh no, the hospital, are you ok now. I hope you are
Aw they sound like brilliant characters the way you write about them and I can really see how much you love them. They're such gorgeous cats and I love seeing photos of them. Are they really playful all the time or lazy like Skye (who is curled up asleep on Mums silk dressing gown at the moment. My bedroom window opens onto the conservatory, and Skye has found out that by standing on the side board he can howl at my window until I wake up! Hah he's so cheeky!
That's great you enjoy Biology. Ah it's a shame when the teacher doesn't describe the subject with much enthusiasm. I wish I could be a teacher, I'd love to teach people things and I'm a pretty enthusiastic person so it would be amazing. It's just my health that holds me back. But I'd rather be a childresn author because I live to write. What are you studying in Biology at the moment? what's your favourite part of it?
Oh wow I just spotted a goldfinch in the garden! It's beautiful! Do you have those in Germany?
Wow you have to pay! That's a big shame. Luckily at my zoo I don't need to do that. Is it really expensive?
What is Life on White?
I really hope so, what shots have you taken so far?
Aw do you stay at the Uni accomodation? Do you travel back at the weekend to see your family and your Coonies? Wow, snow! It's pretty freezing here but nothing like that. And there have been insane ice storms in America, i saw it in the paper.
Wow that sounds like a great programme. I'll look out for it. Apart from cats, what are your favourite animals?
See yah

Hey Chloe
Yes, I'm ok now. I had fever and a swollen foot because of a inflammation but I feel well now
Yes, Kimba and Silver are so wonderful. They really love to play if there is something to play with (sometimes it's me ), but they don't do it all the time because they can sleep such a long time too
Awww, it's so adorable! Skye the little wolf I wish my cat's would howl like he does, but their miaow sounds like peeping, so far away from the call of a wolf
I'm sure you would be a wonderful teacher and I know you're an excellent author because of your great Advent calendar journals! A children book with funny photos of Skye and Arran and a funny story along with it would be beloved by all. Particularly the kids would beg their parents to get cheeky cats
At the moment we learn the essentials of Biology and evolutionary biology. Of course I love the animal parts in the lectures and most of all I love the behaviour of animals but unfortunately I hadn't this topic as yet I think ecology would be nice too.
Yes, we have the goldfinch too, but I had seen him only one day. This bird has really a beautiful multicoloured feathering.
I don't know how much the photos will cost but I'm going to e-mail the zoo early in January. I hope they're not so strict and make an exception for me that I don't have to pay
"Life on White" is a project by the photographer Eric Isselée and his team. Their aim is to photograph as many species of animals on white background as they can. The photos look really great and they have some Making-of videos on their website (www.lifeonwhite.com/) . This year they had photograph an Asian golden cat cub in Germany, I wish I had been there at that moment Some pics of this so cutee cub: www.zooborns.com/zooborns/2013…
My luck is that I can remain living in my parents house the next three years, because the Uni is relatively near to my home. I travel with the railway each day to the inner-city of Hamburg. And so I can live and sleep with my Coonies during leisure time each day
Yes, you need to watch this anime series if you like animes a bit, it's really great!
I love rabbits too because my mum and me owned some in my young days. I can still remember once two of them had babies, they were so cuteee A wonderful time..
I like birds, fish and somehow frogs too. We owned an great aquarium for some time with fish and axolotl. Axolotl is an amphibian which can regenerate lost limbs, it sounds freaky right? But this is really true, it's an unresolved biological phenomenon.
During christmas I'm visiting my grandparents again, so I'll be back in a week, but you're already used to my late responses
See ya

Hey Manu
Poor you that sounds awful. Did you have to have an iv at the hospital? I'm really glad you're feeling better now. My sister had a rough time, she passed out and got concussion and needed to go to hospital in an ambulance. The concussion keeps making her legs collapse but she's slowly starting to feel better. It's hard for her because she has m.e as well
How are Kimba and Silver? AW they're such playful cats and so adorable. Do they love their photo shoots, they must think they're famous
Haha, be pleased they don't howl, when Skye wants something, nobody is allowed to ignore him Most of the time he just sleeps. Right now he's face planted on the couch and looks absolutely adorable.
Aww that's so kind of you to say, thanks Manu
How is your biology going? It sounds brilliant and fascinating as well.
Maybe if you show the zoo your photos then they will not charge as much, who knows they may assign you to be the zoo photographer. At our local zoo this photographer has galleries in the zoo, I went to one of his talks and it was really interesting.
Awwww those golden cat cubs are beyond adorable. Aren't they the cutest little things. I love these monkeys at the zoo, no-one really goes to see them but I love them. And they all gather together staring at you wondering what the heck you are www.singaporetravelholic.com/j… What is your favorite animal again?
That's good you can stay with your parents, you must be close, that's really nice. Aww that must have been so nice having baby rabbits, we have only ever owned cats but we did babysit our neighbors rabbit Benjy.
Wow you owned an axolotl, they're the most amazing creatures and absolutely fascinating. That's incredible it can regrow limbs! I was reading the other day about the Pompeii worm, it's practically fire proof! www.environmentalgraffiti.com/…
I hope you had a great time with your Grandparents, did you have a nice Christmas?
No, don't worry about it, I know I"m really late replying as well so it's fine
