Another day, Another Warhammer 40k picture. This is the a bolter for my Custom Chapter and it took a couple of tries to get it right.

The Defensio Pattern Bolter originated from the need for a more accurate bolter. It is used primarily by the Emperors Punishers for defensive, long-range combat and can out-range Looted Bolters (Orkz) and Descraced Bolters use by the ruinous powers of Chaos. One draw-back of the weapon is that unlike it's standard counter-part, It only holds 20 rounds as opposed of the normal 30. This is only a minor problem though. The stock is an optional attachment for those who ask for more stability when firing for prolonged periods.
