it coul be less perpendicular, but the background seems fine to me. the only big problem I see is that his legs are too small

This reminds me of Bruce Lee...the blood, the look and the expression. The coloring is visually striking to me as the weapon that is laying at his feet. But I agree with the tiny feet. But overall good job!
