This was another idea. I watched the classic muscle reconstruction of dinosaurs, so I create my own saurian colossal titan in comparison.

I.rex is basically a Giga on steroids, so pitting something against itself but better is not the best idea.

A T.rex with it's jaws would be more than enough to beat the smaller theropod that is the I.rex.

I agreed with that! Peter Jackson wanted a mean dinosaur too, and Weta digital created his V-rex. It needs a orthodontist soon hehe. It´s obvious that ILM take it as a reference for Indominus

Well, the Jackson´s cinematography is more a cinematic show independent for justifications and explanations. The interesting thing about V.rex is that it combines the modern posture of T-rex with the scales and armor of the first reconstruction of Tyrannosaurus, painted by Charles R. Knight. (and animated by willys o´brien in the classic version of King Kong)
I don´t know if Indominus will look like that, But In my reconstruction of it, I added some things.
( In a lateral view, Indominus´s head is larger, but I painted in a point of view that shortened it in some way)
