Description A human? In my halfway folder? It's not as unlikely as you'd think.

Coda is a tall, thin man from one of the many realities very similar to ours, with a large modern world filled with humans. He was the future owner of a circus company, and one of the trapeze artists at said company. He was good friends with the ringleader of his circus, another man with dark honey-brown hair and a preference for the flamboyant, especially his unique [and a little gaudy] top hat. Coda and the Ringleader only grew closer over the years, eventually becoming a couple, but the Ringleader slowly became more closed off, until it was revealed he was dying of a peculiar disease never before seen. His lungs were tearing themselves apart, causing him to cough blood, and it only got worse. One day, the Ringleader succumbed to the disease, dying, drowning on his own blood.

Coda went into mourning, becoming thinner from not eating properly and paler from not going outside. One day, what he could only describe as an angel arrived. Red fur and feathers, hooved feet, digitigrade legs, and one eye, with a black iris and red pupil. The angel offered him a deal. In return for Coda aiding the angel, the angel would offer him knowledge, power and a greatly elongated life. Coda, tempted not only by the power, but by his grief, accepted. His hair drained of colour, turning a wispy silver, and he was provided with the knowledge. Magic from reality itself... or rather, unreality. The halfway, as the angel called it. And from there, the circus became a front for a cult. Hidden by the power of the angel, the cult was hidden from the Orderseekers, until eventually, Coda harnessed one. An odd inkwell creature, who he could use to write words that changed the world around him. Coda has no more than a mortal, but no less than a god.

uh oh,,, that was a lot of lore,,,

Coda is male and uses He/Him pronouns.
