Been a minute since I gave a good update. Made a lot of progress on my major real life project that's been taken up so much of my time and attention. July 1st is my ultimate death deadline, but I feel good about how things are going. Once that's done, I can write whatever I want! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA--- *ahem* sorry. Thanks all for your favs, watches, and favorites. I'm almost at 500 watchers which is crazy!

James smiled stroking his beard as he looked in his PO box. It had finally arrived! The package was large, and aptly so! It was a commission from the legendary craftswoman Mermaidlover86 on deviantArt. She was a master at crafting mermen/maid tails. James saved up for almost a year with a part time job so that he could afford a commission from her. He saw others, and theirs looked wonderful!
The college senior opened the package carefully with his pocketknife to not damage it, and could barely contain his excitement as he looked down on his very own merman tail! He had always loved the ocean and was fascinated by everything in it, including merpeople. He had embarrassing memories of wishing that he could meet a mermaid, and hoped he found one whenever his family went to the beach. Now that he reached his twenties the magic of such things have diminished; however, he could still enjoy such things as much as anyone else has their own guilty pleasures.
