A cold, distant, hope,Splinters the shadow of night,
Like winters so harsh,
Pierce the chilling soul,
A beautiful, dark, tragedy,
Trapped in lonely lights.
In such stillness,
The shrill, reverberating cry,
Of a scared, ailing, raven,
Alerts the midnight sky,
And from the far heavens,
The tattered stars fight,
For their chance to shine.
