Description Some say what you can make out of your life is dependent on who you know...and I agree in a completely polar sense. The great joys in life come from relationships, and the worst pains of life stem from the like as well.

Thus, since relationships are such a vital and influential power in each of our lives, I've been thinking about them a lot lately. The good, the bad, and the ugly I guess you can say.

"Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder"...so true and yet so horribly false. Some things that are deemed opinion are anything but...some things in life are just flat out amazing, or completely awful. Like a sunset-there is no self-perception in a sunset. Hands down, it is gorgeous.

Relationships can appear to be some what grey, but I think there really is but one truth to each and every pair of people. They only seem grey because of clouded perception. "Truth is relative"...now that's bull. Perception is relative, truth is absolute. Some peoples' perception is just mixed up, whether because they are looking upon a situation too closely, or too distantly.

Many people can't see truth, because they choose to warp their perception. Whether they think it makes them unique, or whether they are scared of seeing beauty...I don't know...but some people are happier in misery.

Some people rather see everything as horrible, because they are scared of having foolish hope.

There is the romantic...seeing life optimistically and like a huge celebration. There is the realist, who is ironically skeptic and views life very technically and scientifically. Then there is the final category I'd like the world to fall under...those who can see the good and melt, embrace the bad with open arms, and live for truth despite all costs...

Art...it is a display of perception, and on a lucky occasion-truth and the utmost reality. God is the ultimate artist...and he sees the world for what it truly is.  That's why I love pieces of nature...it's more real than this world could ever dream of. Art reveals how we see things, and it displays who we are. Some times I wonder, what secrets does my art tell about me?

As for life...

Life is just life...beautifully broken, and wonderfully blessed.
