Description
For so long I haven't been able to make up mind on my sidings with the issue of war, other than I didn't like it and I found it unbearably pitiful. These views I have not exactly deviated from, but instead defined. Of course, it was the art of literature, the words of my favorite author of all time, that lead me to my conclusions-note I do not say final conclusions, because growth, age, and maturity will continue to strengthen and build upon my present beliefs, as they always have. It is such changes that lead me to this "conclusion" I speak of.War to me is still pathetic and unfortunate. I cannot imagine that ever changing. But I no longer see it has completely pointless. Here's my newfound view of things...
War is for people who are too power-thirsty, foolish, ignorant, arrogant, and weak-minded to intelligently converse and compromise a reasonable solution. The same with physical fights of smaller sorts. People who will hit someone are too unwise to know how to speak their mind, so instead they declare the strongest to be the winner. As "Arthur" once said, "Not might for right..."
Just because one force is stronger does not deem the unbeatable force the most knowledgeable. Point being, only unintelligent, hot-headed people fight, because they don't have the wits to explain their mind.
This world needs to learn to explore and communicate the workings of their minds...If they could do that and keep a calm head, why fight a war? Even so victory of war is meaningless other than the final ending of something that shouldn't have ever begun. Victory just means one side had more might, despite what is right.
Sometimes countries are forced into war when they would rather not be in one. At times, war is necessary, if one side has no other choice but to protect themselves and their benefits from the other side-note again, I said benefits, not rights.
